1. Work introduction:
The mixer is mainly used for the mixing and coloring of polyvinyl chloride resin, the coloring and drying of polyethylene and polypropylene particles, the drying of hygroscopic resins such as ABS and polycarbonate before molding and processing, and the mixing of phenolic resins. It is one of the necessary equipment in plastic processing plants and has also been widely used in rubber, pharmaceutical, dye, food and other industries;
Because it has the advantages of fast mixing, uniform mixture, good resin absorption of plasticizers, easy machine operation, easy cleaning, sturdy and durable, and compact structure.
Cold mixing is used for cooling and stirring of materials and is a low-speed mixing;

2. Structural features:
The mixer consists of a pot body, a pneumatic pot cover, transmission components, stirring blades, a base, a pneumatic discharge port, an independent heating system, a cooling circulation system (cold mixer), an automatic control electrical cabinet and other components;
Requirements for each lubrication point: The main shaft bearings of the mixing unit are lubricated with No. 3 molybdenum disulfide lithium-based grease and refueled once a day.

3. Instructions for use:

The mixer and electric control box are installed on cement foundation or solid steel frame foundation respectively. Correct the horizontal position and fix it with four anchor bolts.
Connect the mixer motor, cylinder, heater (high mixing), and thermocouple to the coding code in the electrical box;
Check whether there are any debris in the mixing pot, clean the pot, and turn off all power sources while cleaning the pot;
Hot mixing requires adding thermal oil, and the exhaust gas in the oil filling port nut cannot be blocked to facilitate oil temperature ventilation;
Cold mixing needs to be connected to water pipes or other cooling media, and the reducer must be filled with gear oil before use;
Connect the external air compressor, connect the air pipe to the pneumatic valve inside the electrical box, and connect the power supply to the electrical box;
Turn on the internal switch of the electrical box and close the electrical cabinet door; turn on the emergency stop button and check whether the heating indication, pneumatic cover opening, pneumatic discharge, and temperature control indication are working normally;
Start low-speed stirring after all indicator lights light up normally, and start high-speed stirring after an interval of 2 minutes. Do not suddenly start low-speed stirring during high-speed mixing! There is no such operation for cold mixing; for variable frequency series, please refer to the instruction manual of variable frequency speed regulation;
Purchase materials into the hopper from the top of the pot lid. Close the discharge valve before feeding, close and tighten the pot lid buckle;
Before mixing the material, automatic discharging and manual discharging can be set, and the material temperature parameters can be set for automatic discharging; discharging cannot be stopped!
If there is any abnormality during the mixing process, immediately press the emergency stop button, turn off all power supplies, and check!
After the machine is used, if it will not be used for a short period of time, the inner wall of the pot and stirring paddle should be carefully wiped. If it is not used for a long time, protective oil should be applied!

4. Troubleshooting:

The buttons are invalid after the power is turned on: Check whether the emergency stop button is turned on; for variable frequency models, refer to the variable frequency instruction manual;
Cylinder control is invalid: Check whether the solenoid valve is connected and the pneumatic valve is open;

1. Preparation before starting up
(1) Keep all parts of the machine clean, especially the mixing container and discharge valve. The inner cavity should be cleaned to ensure that there are no hard objects or dirt.
(2) Check in detail that all connecting parts of the machine are not loose, the heating compressed air pipeline is tightly connected and there is no leakage, and all instruments indicate normal.
(3) Check each component for defects such as scratching, sticking, etc., and lubricate each part strictly according to the lubrication procedures.
(4) Check whether the opening and closing action of the discharge valve is flexible and without obstruction.
(5) Check whether the stirring paddle is firmly installed. There is no grinding between the scraper and the bottom of the pot, and a certain gap is maintained. When turning it by hand, the spindle should rotate lightly and flexibly.
(6) Check whether the electrical equipment is safe and reliable.
6. Precautions and safety regulations during machine operation
(1) Always pay attention to the ammeter indication value not exceeding the rated value. If you find that the ammeter indication value increases sharply, stop the machine immediately, find out the cause, and continue production after troubleshooting.
(2) Pay attention to whether the motor runs smoothly, without abnormal noise, and whether the temperature rise is normal.
(3) When replacing resin or pigment, the discharge valve of the mixing container and the wall of the discharge cylinder must be cleaned.
(4) The mixed materials in the mixing container must be cleared before closing the discharge valve to prevent materials from getting stuck in front of the valve and causing material leakage.
(5) Pay attention to check whether the main shaft bearing, belt and other transmission parts are normal. If there is abnormal sound or vibration, stop the rotation immediately. Damaged parts should be replaced and repaired in time.
(6) No material should be fed before the machine is started to reduce overrunning resistance. Plasticizer should be added slowly while the machine is running. Plasticizer should not be poured into the machine suddenly to avoid local material agglomeration, which may cause a sudden increase in load.
(7) Start-up sequence: close the discharge valve - add materials - close the pot lid - start low speed - start high speed - mix time and temperature according to process requirements - discharge materials
(8) Be careful not to switch from high speed to low speed
